MiniGlobes
To broaden the reach beyond the exhibit of large Globes, we asked personalities from all walks of life - movie stars, rock stars, astronauts, artists, scientists, politicians, athletes and children to decorate mini Globes (11 inches in diameter). Our mission was to demonstrate to the world the diversity of voices singing in the chorus to help stop global warming. Some of the personalities who participated include: Magic Johnson, Astronaut Jim Lovell, After School Matters Artists, Filmmaker Ken Burns, REM, Chicago Public School Area 2 Sixth Graders, Bruce Hornsby, Blue Man Group, the Harlem Globetrotters and others.
